원곡은 Cat Stevens의1971년 발표한 5번째 앨범 'Teaser and the Firecat' 에 수록된 곡으로

19세기의 찬송가를 편곡해 만든 곡이며 The Chieftains 40주년 기념으로 나온 앨범곡 중에

Art Garfunkel 와 Diana Krall이 같이 부른 곡이다.

아이리쉬 내음이 물씬 풍기는,참 평화롭고 차분한 음악,<Morning Has Broken> 

치프턴즈의 전형적인 창법으로 시작 되고클라리넷 가락이 잔잔하게 울려퍼지는 음악,

마치 아침을 조용히 알리는 부드러운 빛  같다.
