She passed the salley gardens with little snow-white feet. She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree; But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree. 버드나무 정원에서 그녀와 나는 만났네. 눈처럼 흰 작은 발로 버드나무 정원을 거닐며 그녀는 내게 말했지. 나뭇가지에 잎 자라듯 사랑을 쉽게 생각하라고. 그러나 나는 젊고 어리석어 그녀의 말 듣지 않았네. In a field by the river my love and I did stand, And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand. She bid me take life easy, as the grass grows on the weirs; But I was young and foolish, and now am full of tears. 강가 들판에서 그녀와 나는 서 있었네. 기대인 내 어깨 위에 눈처럼 흰 손을 얹으며 그녀는 내게 말했지. 둑 위에 풀 자라듯 인생을 쉽게 생각하라고. 그러나 나는 젊고 어리석었기에, 지금 눈물로 가득하네. |
